PSP’s new avatar has finally been spotted, photographed, and described in some detail. All this has happened over the past couple of days and, needless to say, has set gamers’ nerves tingling with anticipation. That the images, and even a video, are leaks goes without saying. What’s noteworthy though is the fact that Sony's own monthly interactive video series Qore is the source of these goodies. Anyway, PSP Go, as it is known, is seen flaunting a 3.8-inch display, which is 43% more bright than the PSP-3000. Of course, it is a sliding device with controls revealed when its screen is slid. Among the specs of PlayStation Portable Go flowing are noted: • 16 GB of embedded flash storage • Absence of UMD drive • Memory Stick Micro slot • Built-in Bluetooth • Full compatibility with older PSN channels.
The device is expected to make an appearance at the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). Meanwhile, we report, courtesy of the leaked video, that Sony is going to announce a spate of big gaming titles for PSP Go like Gran Turismo and MGS at E3. Sony’s E3 Press Conference will be held on June 2 and this leak has certainly taken a bit of sheen away. Well, unless this one’s a hoax to mislead us. Either way, we post the video below; you watch and come to your conclusions.
